  • Peaches Jackofski
Peaches Jackofski 2 (na) buwan ang nakalipas Roll it baby!! Best trick in the kitchen, roll it till it’s really soft, and then loads of juice comes out
  • ja da
ja da 2 (na) buwan ang nakalipas But are you squeezing your lemons or using a cheap plastic juicer? I've noticed that you get very little juice out of an orange when you do that. I had forgot my dressing one time for my salad at work, but had a small orange as a snack. I figured well, it wont probably be as good as a lemon (It was not...) but it would be something. So I jammed by thumb through it and began squeezing it. The amount of juice I squeezed by my bare hand far out weighed any had I tried to use a juicer.
  • Rupert Gates
Rupert Gates 2 (na) buwan ang nakalipas (na-edit) put ur lemons in the microwave for a bit before squeezing to get the most juice out of them
  • Icicle
Icicle 3 (na) buwan ang nakalipas lol, he has strong hands :D probably because he eats so healthy all the time. ^^
  • B B
B B 3 (na) buwan ang nakalipas That really depends on the lemon. If you are on vacation in Spain or Italy and go to a lemon tree somewhere in the countryside you easily get this amount of lemon juice. If you go to the supermarket next door you probably need 4 lemons to do the trick. And the smell and taste is just as different.

  • andrea
andrea 3 (na) taon ang nakalipas Oh...I've had white rice all my life, and so has my family from generations. But only me and my dad have it. And I think I have more than sufficient quantity for lunch and dinner. I have very high metabolism so I eat more than my friends. I also live in a place where its hot almost more than half the year. I think I need to cut processed sugar completely. My dentist's getting rich off me and I'm now worried about the composite fillings they use. I'll have to cook food separately for me I guess. I'll give it a try and create a log. Let's see. Do you know if there are any daily meal plan sites I can follow for this?
  • David Brown
David Brown 3 (na) taon ang nakalipas +andrea To the best of my knowledge, you can have brown, wild rice and lentils, but be careful not to overdo it. Make sure that your diet is much heavier on the leafy green side of things.
  • andrea
andrea 3 (na) taon ang nakalipas My staple diet is rice and lentils for lunch and dinner. Is that not good?
  • Valerie Valootie
Valerie Valootie 3 (na) taon ang nakalipas +andrea I've done very well with reducing my psoriasis (mostly on the scalp and neck) by changing up my diet. I used to eat a lot of pasta and french fries. I also drank a lot of soda. I almost never eat pasta or drink soda, now. I eat a lot of salmon and fresh fruits and veggies. I traded soda for green tea and get my sweet fix from dark chocolate, Greek yogurt, and fresh fruit. Eating better has made me feel much better and helped me to combat my issues with psoriasis, tooth decay/staining, and diabetes. Good luck to you with eliminating your psoriasis, too!
  • andrea
andrea 3 (na) taon ang nakalipas @Jan96106 Thanks for the tips. I live in a very hot weather country and I'm usually among the only one of my friends who likes to walk in the summer sun. :) I can't stand cold weather usually. But sugar is my bane. I've given up coffee and tea and sleep very little, so I have increased my sugar intake though its still not much. I have had psoriasis patches under my left foot for long. My dad has on both feet. But recently I got under my left eye as well and thought my scalp was itchy as well. Thankfully its gone now. But my lips feel scaly now and I have mild flakes on my eyelashes. Only my leg one is visible though. I hope they just clear up.
  • David Brown
David Brown 3 (na) taon ang nakalipas @Andrii Muliar I'm sorry to hear of your dependency of steroids. Psoriasis sucks real bad... However, I believe a more permanent cure is found with diet. If you can be disciplined enough to follow through with the John Pagano diet, you will never need topical steroids again.
  • Andrii Muliar
Andrii Muliar 3 (na) taon ang nakalipas At least for me because my life is dependent from steroids.
  • David Brown
David Brown 3 (na) taon ang nakalipas @Andrii Muliar you're wrong to say they are not dangerous. Topical steroids greatly thin the top layers of skin which causes it to not protect you as well as it should. Farthermore, topical steroids cannot cure the problem, since it is caused internally, not externally.
  • Jan96106
Jan96106 3 (na) taon ang nakalipas Thanks, but prescription strength steroids aren't good for psoriasis because they have a rebound effect; once I (and most psoriatic sufferers) stop them, the psoriasis is worse than when I started. It is because there is no cure for psoriasis. Also, large quantities of prescription strength steroids are dangerous to use for long periods of time. (That's why they nick-named it the death hormone.) Moreover, I now have an eye condition that no longer allows me to take steroids of any kind, per my eye doctor. You are probably taking over the counter strength or you have a small patch of psoriasis and aren't getting much of the steroid absorbed into your body. But thanks for the suggestion.
  • Andrii Muliar
Andrii Muliar 3 (na) taon ang nakalipas You can cure psoriasis with topical steroids - it is not dangerous medications.
  • Jan96106
Jan96106 3 (na) taon ang nakalipas @andrea Eating healthy is always good for the skin, so there is nothing wrong with that, but I eat healthy and I've had psoriasis for years. I don't want to take dangerous medications, so not much helps it. Keep your skin well lubricated. Get out in the sun. I've been walking outside a lot in the summer sun, and the psoriasis definitely looks better, less severe. It is usually worse in winter because most heating systems are drying. In terms of diet, staying away from refined sugar is probably the best thing one can do. With psoriasis, the skin cells multiply out of control (like they do in cancer). Sugar fuels cancer cell growth; it speeds cancer growth . Perhaps it does so with psoriasis as well. I don't think there are any studies on it like there are with cancer.

  • David Brown
David Brown 4 (na) taon ang nakalipas @andrea I'm following the John Pagano diet, but I'm a little too loose with it. Basically, you may eat anything other than fried foods, red meats, refined sugars, and processed foods. Stay focused on veggies (mainly green leafy ones) and everything should start healing up (but after several months...) Very hard depending on your current eating habits, but well worth it. I'm still fighting to go through everything.
